Explore provider hierarchies

Find out who a doctor works with, and who owns what — from official public data.

1Search for a doctor or an organization

Open the Hierarchy Map. Pick Providers to search doctors by name and state, or Organizations to search practices, hospitals, and health systems.

Click a result to open it on the map.

2Read the map

When you open a doctor, you'll see them connected to the organizations they belong to — their practice groups and locations. When you open an organization, you'll see its parent system and the groups under it.

The panel on the right (Inspector) shows details for whatever you click: connected organizations, doctor rosters, top specialties, and where the data came from.

3Follow the connections

In the Inspector, every connected organization has an Open hierarchy button. Click it to jump to that organization's own map — for example, from a doctor to their group practice, then to the health system that owns it.

The view tabs at the top switch what you see: Overview (organization chart), Account (deeper org chart), and HCP slice (all the doctors inside).

Numbers, depth controls, and data filters live behind the Advanced button in the toolbar. Most people never need them.
